Loci: Resources

The Resources section of Loci provides a select collection of free online learning materials which are available through the site. These materials have been classroom tested and peer reviewed. Many items are posted with editorial reviews and a link to a moderated discussion group focused on the materials.

The applet displays the size of the standard deviation and the position of the mean in the distribution. An activity is provided to facilitate the use of the applet to investigate standard deviation. Derivative Matching Game This interactive, browser-based game provides students with a great activity for the "reform calculus" problem of finding "function-derivative pairs" based only on graphs.
